In 1981, Peter Banga of Switzerland became the current owner of the invermere bakery. Peter received his Journeyman credentials as Baker and Pastry Chef in Zurich, Switzerland from the Baeckerei Steiner and then immigrated to Canada.Peter has carried on the fine baking tradition in this small mountain town and continues to improve products and their availability.
