Quality Bakery was established in 1956
by Dutch Baker, Jan Van Driel, followed by Austrian Baker, Rudy Laresser in 1964.
In 1981, Peter Banga of Switzerland became the current owner of Quality Bakery. Peter received his Journeyman credentials as Baker and Pastry Chef in Zurich, Switzerland from the Baeckerei Steiner and then immigrated to Canada. Peter has carried on the fine baking tradition in this small mountain town and continues to improve products and their availability.
